It's certainly interesting, how all of a sudden his local supervision in CA needs to talk to him, and the Feds will kinda come by and see if he wants to chat.

Given the "and anything else as directed by your probation officer" is on the "agreement," this is a case where an undefined "well, you shouldn't have done that" will trigger a violation question, just because.

Remember: It's up to who is in charge and this portends a bad, bad precedent on both sides of the aisle....

Before long any and all criticism of Islam will be criminalized.

It was a parole violation for him to use the internet, actually, according ot the terms of his parole.

People need to stop freaking out about a paroleed grifter dude having his shit reviewed by a parole board.

Agreed. Best energy is spent looking for the people with AK-47s and RPGs who hunt down and murder diplomats and their staff....

We can both look at this dude's parole, and do that. Parole officers don't usually go abroad and hunt down people with AK47s.

It's really weird how many people think someone's rights are being violated because his parole-- which is basically "We reduced your punishment because you promised to not fuck up society any more than you already have" is being reviewed.

If it was a parole violation, I begin to understand the need for his imaginary Jewish identity.

Both Curt and Obdicut, are right and the parole status of the individual takes away any 1st amendment considerations...but you know....

Also, be ready for the "Obama is a Muslim" crowd to say this is Obama carrying out Sharia law attack on our freedoms.

8 Winny Spencer  Sat, Sep 15, 2012 2:12:58pm

And be ready for the Obama sycophants to defend him no matter what.

It's not that the parole violation is the issue I'm looking at as much as: It's the locals now calling him in and ....oh, by the way....the Feds will want to ask a few questions.

So....if the local supervision authority has things under control for his possible breach of his restrictions, what a coincidence that the Feds will show up now. Or at least the media is right on top of reporting that this is a joint questioning session pragmatically. It's a penumbra not to be dismissed for where the shadow will fall for someone else. That's the bigger issue.

If the CA DOC hauls him off, well, shame on him for breaking his rules. If he is put into the custody of the Feds...then we have an entirely different issue at hand.

Do you understand he's on probation from Federal prison?

Apparently not.

Oops. I missed that. You're correct then. Thanks for pulling that one into my view.

No problem. There is really nothing at all weird about a guy on parole for fraud who's not allowed to use the internet getting pulled in for review after he obviously does some shit on the internet.

Oh, FFS...

The douchebag was under computer/Internet restrictions while on parole for a federal conviction on bank fraud and he broke it; is this really an issue for you?

Shit I want some of that action. Winny, what time frame do you think this will occur in?

He's not being punished for what he said, he's being investigated for a parole violation. But don't let that get in the way of your persecution fantasy.

Well they let him go after 90 minutes, so I suspect they can't prove he violated his probation.

There are a lot of people who hope that the police are all over him 'like white on rice'. I assume they mean to protect him.

The term "use" legally would have to show he personally used it. If it wasn't his channel, and he was just in a video, or scripted it, and used a recording device of some sort to create it...who used the Internet to post it? That would be the rub for then cuffing him. Like it or not, they would have had to find he had the access and personally used it. Most likely, the digging into the story would show some other bonehead was the one to upload it.

If Obama is reelected, before the end of 2016.
